What is a Poetry Slam? It’s a competition using elimination rounds for the reading or performance of poetry and tonight’s feature is local poet and author Crystal Stone. The sign up sheet comes out at 6:30 p.m. for the first 13 poets, all will read in the first round. Five judges will score, dropping the high/low and the top readers will read in a second round. Three readers walk away with the finest used books!
