Business Publications (aka the Business Record) recently launched Greater to help people more intimately and comfortably address community challenges, but instead of just pointing at problems, they want to use the Greater platform and potential solutions to take a hopeful approach to solving the issues. Ultimately, they want to help connect community leaders, and those with big (or little) ideas, to other people and institutions who can work to help solve our community challenges.  This includes the challenges that face art and culture in the Greater Des Moines area..

Business Publications was established in 1983 by Connie Wimer. The company’s flagship publications – the Business Record and dsm magazine – were launched in 1983 and 2003, respectively.

These publications reach Greater Des Moines’ two most influential audiences – top area business owners and decision-makers and the highest demographic consumers with luxury lifestyles. Its many, popular events for the business community and social sophisticates are well-attended by the leaders in both.
